National Accounting Challenge 2023

Background

National Accounting Challenge is held every year for Secondary Three POA students to apply their learning, to ascertain their mastery in the subject, and to propose solutions to real-life business scenarios.

Details

The students went through a rapid fire challenge that consists of 100 MCQ POA questions to get into the finals. In the finals, the team created a toy prototype, calculated the costs and set appropriate selling prices and also, did an elevator pitch to sell their products. They then prepared a projected financial statement for the business. The team emerged as champions.
