Start of DSA application process5th May
Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. Please refer to MOE website at: https://www.moe.gov.sg/dsa-sec 

For applicants not studying in MOE mainstream primary schools, please refer to MOE website at: https://go.gov.sg/nmsdsa-sec-application for more information.

Application Period (Login to Portal is via Parents’ Singpass)

An applicant may indicate up to 3 choices through the DSA-Sec Portal.

Information to provide in the portal:
- Valid email address and local number.
- Applicants studying in mainstream primary schools will have their primary school information shared directly with the DSA-Sec schools that they are applying to. It is optional to indicate non-school-based activities and achievements.

Selection Exercise (Trials/auditions/interviews)
28th Jun
to
13th Sep
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for trial/audition (CCA areas) and interview. This will be conducted through video-conferencing at applicant’s primary school. 

Dates of the trial/audition will be provided to shortlisted applicants.

OutcomeBy
13th Sep
Applicants will be informed of their application outcomes by the school.

School Preference Submission
25th Oct
to
29th Oct
Applicants who receive at least one DSA-Sec offer (including from SOTA) will receive an email and SMS notification via Postman.gov.sg on the School Preference Submission in mid- Oct 2021. Both parents are required to login to the DSA-Sec Portal using their SingPass to submit up to 3 school preferences. If parents are unable to submit online, they may approach their child’s primary school for assistance to submit the school preferences on their behalf.

DSA-Sec offers not taken up will be considered as lapsed at the end of the School Preference Submission period.


Results Release
Between 25th
and
27th Nov (Tentative)
Successful DSA-Sec applicants are NOT allowed to participate in the S1 posting exercise and are not allowed to transfer to another school after the release of results.

The results of the DSA-Sec Exercise will be released to students, on the same day as the release of PSLE results.

Unsuccessful DSA-Sec applicants will be issued with a Sec 1 option form, informing them that their applications are unsuccessful.
